Information We Collect

Automatically collected. We use Vercel Analytics and PostHog to collect anonymous usage data (page views, device type, country, feature interactions). This data does not identify you personally. PostHog analytics cookies are only set with your explicit consent. PostHog stores data in the EU (Frankfurt).

AI Watch Check tool. When you use the AI Watch Check tool, the photos and text you submit are sent to our AI service provider (OpenAI, via Vercel AI Gateway) for real-time analysis. We take a zero-storage approach:

• Photos are processed in memory and never saved to any database, file system, or log.
• Analysis results are streamed directly to your browser and not retained on our servers.
• Any text you provide (purchase details, notes) is discarded once the response is delivered.
• There are no user accounts — we have no way to link a session back to you.

Once you close or refresh the page, all data from your session is gone.

We do not collect names, email addresses, or account information. This site has no user accounts.

Cookies and Tracking

Our site uses strictly necessary cookies for core functionality (e.g. storing your cookie consent choice). These cannot be disabled.

Optional cookies are only set with your explicit consent. We ask for permission before enabling:

• Analytics cookies — anonymous usage data (page views, device type, feature usage) via PostHog and Vercel Analytics. PostHog may set cookies prefixed with ph_ to maintain anonymous session continuity.
• Marketing cookies — used by advertising partners (including Google AdSense) to serve and measure ads. These may track browsing across sites.
• Functional cookies — for remembering your settings and preferences.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page. Your consent choices are stored in a first-party cookie for approximately six months.

Since we do not collect personal data beyond what is described above, most of these rights are satisfied by default.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
